Title: No Exit
Fandom: Samurai Flamenco
Characters/Pairing: Gotou/Masayoshi
Rating: T
Length: 341
Summary:
“This is a bad idea,” Gotou said insistently, both hands clamped to the railing. “I’ve changed my mind about this, I don’t know how you talked me into this but I have changed my mind-”
Masayoshi stood on the other side of the railing, his smile half-buried in his scarf and his nose colored pink from the cold. “Too late, you’ve already got the skates on.” Gotou was glaring at him but he didn’t care, it was cute. Masayoshi leaned forward on his arms, almost gleeful. “Gotou-san, are you telling me you don’t know how to ice skate?”
“This was a bad idea,” Gotou repeated darkly. He appeared to be blushing, although that could also just be a reaction to the cold. Masayoshi tugged on his sleeve, urging him toward the ice.
“Come on, we’ll go slow. You can hang on to me!”
Gotou was concentrating more on keeping his balance than the realization that he was being led toward the ice. He would have backpedaled sooner if he realized, but Masayoshi shoved him onto the rink and Gotou flailed forward, arms pinwheeling before he overcompensated back and his feet went out from under him.
He slid to a stop on his ass as several elementary school kids zipped by giggling, and glowered at Masayoshi, who slid to a stop next to him. “This is NOT my idea of a fun date,” he muttered.
It took a little bit of maneuvering, but Masayoshi got him up on his feet again - they wobbled together a moment, probably too close in each other’s spaces while in public but there were couples all over the rink pressed together. All the same he slid a bit away, but held both of Gotou’s hands. “Come on,” he said with a smile. “We’ll go slow.”
