Once upon a time Gotou had this thing called self-control.
That was before Masayoshi, before Masayoshi warm and solid in his bed, hair tangled from sleep and sex and grey-blue eyes watching Gotou with fascination. No one had ever WATCHED Gotou like that, not that he could remember … he’d chased off all his friends early on, he made a point not to get close to classmates at the academy, he was himself alone … but Masayoshi changed all of that, and quickly too.
“What’re you LOOKING at,” Gotou said, and smushed a pillow over Masayoshi’s face. He really needed a cigarette but that included pants as Masayoshi would whine at him for smoking in the room.
Masayoshi flailed blindly, found the other pillow on the bed by sheer luck, and winged it at Gotou, clipping the top of his head. Gotou laughed as Masayoshi surfaced, sputtering - and Masayoshi grabbed Gotou by the arm, yanking him sideways and down.
Gotou rolled onto his back and grinned as Masayoshi loomed over him, palms on the mattress. “Why are you so MEAN,” Masayoshi pouted. Gotou reached up and cupped his cheek with one hand, and Masayoshi turned his face into Gotou’s palm and sighed.
Because. Because I don’t think you’re real, you can’t be real and one time I’m going to go to touch you and find out you were never real to begin with.
“Because I like you,” Gotou said, and Masayoshi grabbed both of his cheeks and pinched them out. “OI!”
“It’s only fair!” Masayoshi said. Gotou grabbed Masayoshi’s face with both hands and pulled him down sharply - Masayoshi yelped but then Gotou was kissing him, warm breath and tongue and everything that was arguably Masayoshi - and when released, Masayoshi pouted at him again. “You’re STILL mean.”
