His eyes were as bright as the stars beyond, lit by the warm glow of the earth beneath them - Masayoshi nudged Gotou, his voice distinctive in the echo chamber of the ship’s bridge - “bet you never thought you’d see it like this.”
Masayoshi’s hand was warm in his own, familiar and comforting - Gotou smiled fondly, eyes drifting to Masayoshi’s - “nothing that happens with you surprises me anymore.”
