Summary: It had started to snow again. Gotou stood outside the police box and watched the fat white flakes drift slowly down, cutting through the light cast by the street lamps and disappearing against the sidewalk. There were fairy lights decorating the poles and stretched across the sidewalk farther up the road, twinkling merrily in the distance. Most of the bundled-up pedestrians seemed to be drifting in that direction.
