Roy was beginning to get the feeling that he was being stalked.
It had started a week or so ago, when Ed had driven three hours from Greenville to spend the night over at Roy's. He had told Al he was going out drinking and out drinking they went, just a hundred and fifty miles or so away from where Al expected Ed to be. They had drank, and had sex in Roy's kitchen, up against the counter with Ed pressed back into the cabinets; and then again when they finally made it to the bedroom. Ed had dragged himself out of bed ridiculously early even by Roy's standards to make the drive back.
Roy had offered to come with, help with the hunt but Ed had turned him down, mumbled excuse that they had it well in hand if they needed help he'd call. Roy knew he wouldn't.
It had started later that same day. Ed - the cat this time, Roy didn't know why he didn't just rename the damn cat, it would be easier to keep straight - had gotten into the pantry and spent half an hour yowling while Roy tried to figure out where the stupid thing had gotten stuck. Of course he'd also torn into his cat food and helped himself. "You are a glutton and a troublemaker," Roy had admonished the cat, yanking him out by the scruff.
Ed had glowered at him, and then when Roy dropped him he very deliberately stalked to Roy's boots and peed on them.
Roy flung the cat into the yard.
It was later, when Roy was taking a shower, rubbing idly at the bruise Ed had left on his ribs when he heard something crash in the living room. He hesitated, soap in one hand, remembering kicking the cat out. Not that Roy wouldn't put it past the cat to have wormed himself back in to the house, but Roy fetched the knife he kept in the linen closet and left the shower running. No point grabbing a towel if it was just the cat. He had warding symbols to keep out the nastier ghosts and demons.
He leaned against the wall, peered out into the living room and saw a shadow dart out of the corner of his eye. Roy turned quickly and drew up short in confusion, recognizing the specter. He had been with Ed and Al several times, and just as many times alone with Ed. "Cas," Roy said carefully.
The man turned and spread his hands apart. "I am looking for Ed," he said evenly, and Roy wasn't sure if he meant Elric or the cat.
"What are you doing in my kitchen?" Roy asked.
He cocked his head at Roy, as if he didn't quite understand why Roy would be asking this. "Looking for Ed."
"Ed's not here," Roy said, deciding that Cas must mean Elric. "He left this morning."
Cas nodded, staring at Roy. Or rather, the fact that Roy was dripping wet in his own kitchen, naked as the day he was born. Roy couldn't figure out a way to cover himself without exposing himself to attack so he ignored it. "He likes coming to you," Cas murmured, turning away from Roy. There was something in his voice that Roy couldn't quite peg. "He trusts you."
"He talks about you a lot," Roy said, and then Cas was in front of him, faster than Roy's eye could follow, right within range of Roy's hunting knife. Cold blue eyes stared up into Roy's startled slate ones.
"I want you to teach me," Cas said heavily.
Roy was startled but he had no place to go, his back was already against the wall. The conversation didn't seem to be about what he thought it was about. "Teach you what-?" he asked, feeling things starting to edge out of his control.
"Ed trusts you," Cas repeated. "Teach me."
"You have to earn trust," Roy said falteringly. He was completely unnerved and not used to not being in command of the situation. "It's not something that can be taught, really-"
"He comes to you for comfort," Cas said, his unblinking gaze on Roy. He started to raise his hands but then let them drop nervously at his sides. "I wish to be able to comfort him in the same way you do, when he cannot come to you."
Oh. Oh. Roy lowered the knife finally, staring at Cas. "You want... you want me to teach you how to have sex with him?" Roy couldn't believe he was saying that.
Cas reached up hesitantly and touched the side of Roy's face; Roy wanted to jerk his head away but he didn't and Cas's touch was ... soothing, somehow. Like all the confusion just flushed quietly out of his system, dripping away like the water still running in rivulets down his back from his hair.
"Yes," Cas said.
Roy nodded dumbly, unsure of why he would even think agreeing to this was a good idea but not wanting Cas to remove his hand. "I can't - this isn't a good idea," he said. Cas was already in his personal space and he wanted to be instructed -
It was a simple matter to settle one hand on his hip and pull him closer; Cas dropped his hand from Roy's cheek to his neck, pulling him down so their faces were close. "I don't know you-" he said as Cas covered Roy's mouth with his own.
"You will," Cas said heavily.
Dripping wet, Roy shoved Cas into the shower. It was still going, clouds of steam parting. He'd lost his clothes along the hall, and there was a bruise already forming on Roy's jaw where he'd lost the battle with Cas's teeth. He ducked his head under the spray, blinking in confusion as Roy stepped into the tub with him.
"I know how to shower," Cas said and Roy looked at him oddly but Cas didn't offer more than that.
"First lesson," Roy muttered, turning Cas toward the spray. The shower was just big enough for two people if they were careful. Roy pressed his body against Cas's back, warm skin against warm skin. As he felt Cas relax into him he slipped both of his arms around his waist, one rubbing his dick, the other flattening across Cas's abdomen.
Cas's breathing picked up as Roy slowly stroked Cas to full hardness. He smiled against Cas's neck as the other man spread his legs, bracing both feet against either side of the tub and leaned back into Roy fully. Cas kept making small noises upon exhale, head tilted slightly back but eyes trained on Roy's hand, watching him as he slid his hand down the shaft repeatedly, squeezing hard but not tight, nowhere near enough for Cas to get off on.
Roy pushed Cas forward, out from under the spray and suddenly enough that Cas had to put both hands out to keep from sliding in the tub. He looked back over his shoulder in confusion as Roy ducked his head under the water, then shook it out, sending little droplets of water everywhere. He pressed his hand against the small of Cas's back, then leaned forward, pressing his chest to Cas's back again. "Has Ed fucked you before?"
He felt the hitched breath and knew that Ed had. Roy ran his hand over Cas's leaking cock and then pressed his fingers into Cas, felt him tremble from the inside and out. "What is Ed to you?" Roy rumbled into Cas's back, starting to feel a strange sense of jealously clench in his stomach, fighting very hard for dominance with the general haze of sex.
Cas let out a low groan as Roy stretched him, fucking him with his fingers before replacing them with his cock, pressing tight into Cas. "He is-" his breath hitched as Roy stretched him, filling him with his feet spread wide, hands flat against the tile. "Ohh," he hummed reverently, locking his arms. Roy wrapped his arms around Cas's ribs, cross up over his chest, pressed tight to him both inside and out, waiting for an answer.
He took several deep, shaking breaths. "I was charged to protect him," he said finally, eyes closed and arms shaking. "He is my everything and my reason for existing here, I would have been sent to my death by now if not for that."
Roy stilled, confused by this. "Cas," he said, hips shifting. Cas let out a small moan and Roy gave in, fucking him against the tile. Cas's arms gave out quickly and he pressed the side of his face against the wall as Roy slid and shifted and found a rhythm quickly.
Cas came without a hand on him, spurting stripes against the cold tile and shuddered; contracting around Roy enough to draw his own orgasm out. He hunched over Cas, knees locked until the waves receded. He breathed hard into steam-warmed flesh and straightened, pulling out gingerly.
The water was sliding out of the comfortable range into cool, having used up the hot water heater's patience and Roy rinsed Cas off, pushing him out of the tub. He moved awkwardly, leaning against the wall as Roy toweled his head off. "Cas," he said. "What did you mean-"
"It isn't important," he said dazedly. He looked at his trousers, lying in the open door to the bathroom and Roy knew he wasn't going to stay.
"At least let me get your full name," Roy said with a snort.
"Castiel," Cas said softly, as Roy turned his back. He stopped and glanced back but there was a strange stirring of the air and Cas was gone, clothing gone with him.
